Lose the Quarantine 15

2020 knocked many of us out of our normal routines and habits due stay-at-home orders and lockdowns. Restricted access to exercise, food shortages, and increased stress levels resulted in 71 million Americans gaining weight, or the “quarantine 15."

The 2021 Lose the Quarantine 15 Challenge is designed to encourage mindful and healthful behaviors and to reestablish good habits, resulting in overall wellness. Are you ready to get back into the swing of health?

When: March 1 – April 25 (Sign up by March 5)

What: 8 weeks of tracking daily health habits and tracking any weight loss (if desired).

How to Participate:

  • Sign-up HERE
  • Using the Activity Tracker (provided after sign-up), give yourself one point for every health habit completed each day.
  • Give yourself 1 additional point for every pound lost at the end of each week.
  • Each Monday, you will receive a reminder e-mail with a link to enter your points for that week. Points will be entered for each individual, and the total number of points at the end of the challenge will determine the challenge winner.

Point Value: 15 points for active participation in March (toward Quarter 1). An additional 15 for active participation in April (Quarter 2). 

Additional Incentives: Multiple prize drawings throughout the duration of the challenge.  The employee with the most points overall at the end will win a grand prize!

Employees participating in the challenge for wellness credit will receive 15 points at the end of March, and another 15 points at the end of April for active participation in the challenge. You will earn wellness credit for the challenge by submitting points weekly via the link that will be e-mailed each Friday (you do not need to turn in your Activity Tracker at the end of the month.)
