Feature a Farmer: Pitzer Family Farm
Willa Pitzer from Pitzer Family Farm has been a part of the Madison County Farmers Market for the past four years. Her farm started out as a vegetable garden and has now evolved into an alpaca farm, selling wool socks and other various accessories to keep you warm! You can also find free range chicken eggs, bi-color black cherry tomatoes rich in antioxidants, green beans, potatoes, and green onions- all grown without pesticides. Willa has recently added handmade kitchen crafts to her business; now selling towel holders, plastic bag holders, dish scrubbies, and pot holders. Willa’s two dogs, Clueless and Susie are a big help at the farm, and look after her seven alpacas and chickens. Pitzer Family Farm has been going strong for over 10 years! You can contact Willa at 859-792-6873 or stop by the Madison County Farmers Market.
