Carnita Pork Street Tacos

  • 2 1/2 lbs pork shoulder or butt (Colliver Farms)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • fresh herbs (use what is available)

Season meat and slow cook in crockpot about 8 hours. Shred. 

To assemble use some or all:

  • seedy summer slaw
  • corn tortillas
  • slices of avocado
  • cilantro, roughly chopped
  • diced onion
  • shredded cheese
  • slices of lime
